traits; Nelly is a gentle mare who likes talking and calmness within a herd. She likes Lights and finds most amusing to talk to. She loves foals and talking to mares and stallions around her age. Nelly dislikes when stallions are mean and forceful. She doesn't exactly hate Darks, but she isn't the best of friends with them either. She hates when horses think they are better them someone else, because to her they are lowering themselves by doing that. Nelly is a easy going mare who loves having fun. She can make friends easily and almost always has. Her calmness makes her an easy candidate for stallions though. But just because she is lovable don't think she is a pushover. When the going gets tough, she gets tougher. She isn't afraid to put a rambunctious foal in their place, but is slightly more weary around bigger stallions.family bonds[/font]

history; Nelly always had a peaceful life, growing up with neutrals and all. Her mother was caring and her father was supportive. She grew up playing with the other foals and play fighting. Sometimes they would pretend to win a "battle" against the Darks. She was always a happy-go-lucky kind of mare. Nelly's only really bad thing that happened to her was a Dark stallion trying to steal her from her herd. Luckily, her sire fought him off and they were left to live peacefully. When she was old enough to venture off on her own, she did so and that's when she met Enapay. They had a foal together, her daughter Halona, and she stayed with him as a sort of 'peace keeper' in his herd. There was a bear attack on the herd when Halona was just a little filly but they all got through it. After that, however, Enapay disappeared. Nelly also had one other daughter, Ebony Sequence. Nelly waited a few months before moving on, and that's when she met Koresh. They had a foal together as well, her son Counting Crows, but when she took the colt to go meet with his father, she fond Koresh dead and decided to move on instead of staying.
Nelly, Halona, and Crow all traveled together. Crow frequently went off by himself, something that that older mares disliked, but that is also how he met Keshav, his adopted brother. The deaf colt was dotted on by Nelly especially, who has always been a type of healer for their nomadic group, and the three practically raised him and consider the unrelated colt part of their family. After a year of traveling with nowhere to go, Nelly met with Lord Mortif, who offered her and her family a place to stay in the Neutral royal lands, Tremala Woods. Nelly eagerly accepted and the gang all moved in. Crow went off to join the Fire Squad, part of the Neutral Task Force. Nelly became a healer and Halona became just a regular herd member.
