traits; Chester is loving. He never finds it hard to give love to those who need it. Even if they are dark and evil, he can find it in his heart to trust them at least a little. Even if he is mad at someone, he can not stay mad forever. He just can't. After a battle, he always makes sure the other horse can stand before walking off. Chester never blames anything on anyone without making sure everyone has told their side of the story. If another horse is blamed, then the other horse - even if not involved - must tell a story of their own. Chester never needs anyone to tell him what to do. He knows what he must do and does it right the first time. If someone tries to take over him, he gets mad. He has an air of independence always around him. Yes, you may have done him wrong, but say your apologies and you will be forgiven. Again, like before, he can not hate for a long period of time. Get on Chester's wrong side, however, and you will pay. He has a fire in his heart that is well hidden, but never put out. He can fight. His well toned muscles and daggers have made contact with hide plenty enough to know his stuff and make him strong, both physically and emotionally.

history; Chester grew up never knowing who his real father and mother were. He was raised by a young mare with her own filly. She had twins, but the other filly had died so when Chester came along she was happy. But it was obvious that they were not related. The dam had a paint pelt and the filly was the same. Chester was happy, but he wished he had known his parents. They had been killed by the Earth Shaker and the Great Fire. He himself had been caught in those flames. A tree had fallen next to him, its burning branches scratching his head and giving him his scar. Never before had he been so scared in his life. Hardly able to breath, the brave colt staggered out of the huge fire, but it was no use, He was dieing....

Chester woke up late near the shore of the Sparkling Lake. A stallion was standing before him. This was how Chester became a Neutral, he was raised that way. With no family left that he knew of, Chester grew up a bit lonely. Even when every mare wanted him, he was still...alone. Yes, he was loving and caring and strong, but what was that when you had no family? When the old lead stallion died, Chester hurriedly rose to the position. He had been the oldest stallion a the time. His "sister", Clover, had gone to the claiming grounds and had been claimed by a dark. She had been distraught and killed herself. Chester knew this because he had seen it happen when he himself had gone looking for her. But all is not lost. Even with his real mom and dad dead and his step-mom, he never gave up hope. He has promised himself to find out if he has a sister or brother out there...somewhere.

He left that herd and soon made his way to Wild Equines, where he claimed a new land. He became friendly with two mares by the names of Topaz and Mischief but Topaz disappeared and Mischief stayed around longer. They had a daughter together, Rascal, but Mischief vanished soon after Rascal was born. Chester was left alone to raise his one and only daughter. They lost their home in a bad storm and had to go live with another Neutral stallion, The Bloodstained Soldier of Elegance and Decay. Chester and Decay didn't exactly get along, and he didn't trust the younger stallion around his daughter, but they didn't have anywhere else to go.
