He was taught how to fight but not told why so it can be pretty confusing to him when someone tries to fight him. He rarely ever actually fights but when he does he is surprisingly quite good at it. Some think he's stupid because he can be quite childish, in a way. He seems so innocent and naive and young that it's difficult to believe he was once a prince destined to rule over a whole alliance. Much to the surprise of those that meet him, he is actually a very good leader. Fair. Determined. And pretty headstrong, despite his innocence. He can be firm and discipline when he needs to. But for the most part he is a sweet guy who finds himself caring too much about those he shouldn't. He's got a big heart and wants to spread peace, love, and joy... but that's what got him in trouble in the first place. mental health; 100% history; Back when he was alive, Castiel had never even heard of Wild Equines. He lived in a different land far, far away from the darkness of Wild Equines. In fact, his home was ruled by Lights that were very much like the Versai. Powerful... but corrupt, though he never saw their corruption until it was much too late. He was destined to become the new king of the land, born the first son of the King and Queen, but he never got that chance. He started training in the army when he was two years old and he was an excellent student. He picked up fighting maneuvers quickly. Easily. Cas didn't think he would ever need them. He had grown up surrounded by love and peace... but little did he know that darkness lingered just outside his home. That was when the trouble started. Curious, Cas decided one day that he wanted to go look at the world outside his kingdom. He went without any guards. He didn't think anything would come of it... He didn't think he would need them. But then he stumbled across a meeting, a meeting of those that he knew, members of the herd. They had gathered to plot the destruction of him and his parents. Not wanting to believe that they actually wanted to kill him, he approached them... only to be attacked. Somehow, he managed to get away, but he was hurt and bleeding. He had never known pain before. He had never been hurt like this before. When he got to his parents, he managed to get out "We're under attack" before he was hit in the head by... he didn't know. But it was his own father. He had misunderstood the gathering of traitors. The plan hadn't been to destroy him and his parents. The plan had been to destroy just him. But that was it. He felt intense pain and then nothing.
